The bottom bracket area is exposed to stones or other possible impacts, so SCOTT has developed the Impact Damper. It's reinforced to withstand impacts, has a rubber layer to reduce noise, and is vented so as not to interfere with the airflow of the drive unit.
The SCOTT eRIDE engineering team has developed a special bracket that mounts in place of the bottle cage. A standard 500Wh Bosch battery can be attached to the range extender bracket. This results in a total power output of 1125Wh. Only one charger is needed for charging. The Bosch display takes both batteries into account. Focus on your trip, not your battery level!
The Purion display from Bosch offers high-tech functions. The screen is integrated into the remote control housing to save space, yet the information displayed is easy to read. Two buttons allow you to select the level of assistance, change the information displayed and control the walk assist function. The e-mtb mode automatically adjusts motor assist to torque without changing modes.
You are free to install a luggage rack and mudguards. The frame has dedicated mounting points for a neat and reliable solution. To mount a front or rear light, a cable has already been routed in the frame, no additional battery is needed - the power comes directly from the battery of the drive unit.
