MIPS® mimics the brain's natural protection system. The brain is cushioned by a low-friction fluid called cerebrospinal fluid, which allows the brain to slide inside the skull under impact. The MIPS® Brain Protection System is a unique technology that protects the brain from angled impacts by mimicking the natural friction-reducing barrier to reduce the impact transmitted to the brain. Under angled impacts, the helmet slides on the low-friction MIPS® layer, minimizing rotational forces applied to the brain.

Optimized ventilation
Strategically placed vents combine to create extensive cooling channels, ensuring that every SCOTT helmet keeps you cool and comfortable.

PC In-Mold Construction
During the manufacturing process, the outer polycarbonate shell is bonded to the helmet's shock-absorbing EPS inner shell, resulting in a lighter and and not as bulky helmet with increased comfort.

MRAS Fit System
The Micro Rotary Adjustment System (MRAS) features unique adjustability, comfort and stability. An automatic closure system ensures that the helmet fits tightly and does not slip. The flexible structure of the MRAS Fit System provides additional wearing comfort.

Custom padding

The helmet can be adjusted to fit different head shapes. Pre-shaped cut lines make it easy to cut and adjust the padding to your preferences.
