Shimano Claris ST-RS230 Rapidfire Plus shift/brake lever for road and fitness bikes. Compatible to 2 and 3 x 8-fach-speed Claris R2000 components (incl. R2030). With clearly visible optical gear display (not removeable) and ergonomic 2.5 finger brake lever for rim brakes. In addition the shift-/brake lever features reach and cable adjustment functions as well as Super SLR and 2-Way-Release technology.
The levers are also equipped with 2-Way Release for different riding styles or shifting (index finger or thumb) from various riding positions. The upper lever still performs the same function, but it swings both ways. Pull it with your finger or push it with your thumb - you choose.
