The Shimano Altus FD-M2000 Top Swing front derailleur offers the Dual-Pull technology which allows pulling the shifting cable from the top or from the bottom. The chain guide's high level surface treatment increases durability while consistently light operation forces ensure less maintenance. Optimized for the RD-M2000 rear derailleur's Mega 9 Lite technology which handles a wide-range 9-speed sprocket cluster with close-ratio gearing.
The FD-M2000 features a wider tire clearance, so it fits especially larger wheel bikes. In addition an improved tool access allows a quick setup and adjustment of inner link and H and L screws.
The front derailleur fits standardly 34.9 mm but with included adapters also 28.6 and 31.8 mm tube diameters.
