The Trace is the starter to SIDI´s Mountain world - successor to the Buvel. The new Trace comes with Tecno-3 closure system and the new MTB RS17 sole for even more grip. And of course it features SIDI´s well known quality.
Highlights of the Sidi Trace 2 MTB Shoe:
- POLYTEX Upper:The politex material is constructed of several overlapping layers with different physical-mechanical properties, the compacted PVC is then coupled to two fabrics (knitted fabric + felt) that is then is film dyed for long-lasting color retention. Politex offers strong resistance to ripping, laceration, stretching and fading. Politex is made in strict compliance with European regulations and is a totally “green” product.
- MTB RS17 Sole:Carbon fiber reinforced nylon sole with plastic inserts and rubberized SIDI logo in the middle sole area, for optimum traction in running passages and more safety when entering the pedal. Interchangeable thread inserts in the cleat area, additional inserts for optional studs. Compatible with all standard MTB pedal systems. Replaceable profile insert in the toe area.
- TECNO-3 SYSTEM dials in fit along the entire length of the shoe, adapting the upper to the shape of the foot for a customized fit. SIDI’s famously reliable and replaceable closures are improved by an all new proprietary SIDI Wire material that is completely non-binding for intuitive and effortless on-the-fly adjustments.
- SOFT INSTEP 3 CLOSURE SYSTEM: The anatomical and comfortable strap, placed on the top of the foot and coupled with a soft and thermo-formed material, will increase comfort and performance. It distributes pressure evenly over the arch area, adjustable from both sides to achieve the perfect center position. The system eliminates the need for the High Instep Extender. The Soft Instep Closure System is serviceable and replaceable.
