The AURA 100/BLAZE LINK light set allows front and rear bike lights to be controlled and experienced in a brand new way. Double-clicking the front light automatically switches on the rear light thanks to the intelligent link function. LED indicators on the top of the front light always provide a battery status overview for both lights. Approved for road traffic, the AURA 100 LINK has up to 100 lux and a range of 110 metres (360 feet), and the BLAZE LINK with its brake light function ensures maximum visibility. The overall concept won the 2021 Eurobike Award.
It couldn't be easier or more convenient: the AURA 100/BLAZE LINK set's two lights can be paired via Bluetooth for convenient and intuitive control from the front light. A double-click activates both front and rear lights. A long button push switches them off again.
The LED indicator on the AURA 100 LINK shows the battery level for both lights on a five-level scale during operation. Charging progress is also displayed (charging with a Micro-USB). When the device is switched off, a short press on the power button shows the display.
The AURA 100/BLAZE LINK has five different light modes. The AURA 100 LINK display always shows what mode the lights are in and how much lighting power they are using. When fewer bars light up, less battery power is being used. This makes operation simpler and more convenient.
Automatically well-lit: The integrated sensor detects ambient light and automatically switches the front and rear lights on and off as needed. This saves battery power and is ideal for situations such as passing through tunnels or riding on dark forest roads.
The AURA 100 and BLAZE LINK can be mounted on the bike without tools. The AURA 100 LINK uses a silicone bracket, the BLAZE LINK a silicone strap; both mounting and removal are very easy.
The AURA 100 and BLAZE LINK have integrated lithium-ion batteries that are charged via the Micro-USB socket. The AURA 100 LINK needs 4.5 hours to fully charge and can also be charged easily from a power bank during operation, for instance. The BLAZE LINK is completely charged after just three hours.
Both lights are resistant to splash water in accordance with the international IPX4 standard and can be used in any weather.
The AURA 100 LINK's five different light modes ensure safety and flexibility. In Auto mode, the light adjusts its output autonomously. In Standard mode, the light provides full power (100 lux) for up to three hours. There are also Medium and Low modes, which can extend burn time. In Eco mode, the light can operate for up to 12 hours.
The AURA 100 LINK does not just switch on automatically. In "Auto" lighting mode, an integrated brightness sensor automatically adjusts the front light's intensity to the ambient light. This ensures the longest possible burn time with more than sufficient light power (25 to 100 lux).
The lateral Light Guide on the front light (which complies with German road traffic regulations (StVZO)) is not just cosmetic. It also ensures significantly greater visibility from the side, enhancing safety in road traffic with its two additional LEDs.
The high-quality, high-power Osram LED and the converging lens developed specially by SIGMA gives the AURA 100 LINK uniform light distribution across all light zones.
The integrated slider makes the AURA 100 LINK even more useful for everyday cycling. The light can be removed from its bracket easily and stored (it doesn't take up much space), then re-attached to the handlebars in seconds. The front light fits any handlebars of 22-35 millimeters in diameter.
Three bright LEDs signal braking to others on the road for about three seconds thanks to the integrated acceleration sensor. The brake light can be used during the day without being continuously lit, so it provides more visibility in road traffic. This is also an extremely helpful feature for group rides as well.
The BLAZE LINK has two light modes. Cyclists can choose between the automatic sensor light, which activates automatically in the dark, and the continuous light. For both options, the acceleration sensor triggers the brake light as soon as the bike slows.
