Rab Infinity Down Jacket - orion blue

The Infinity Jacket for winter climbing and mountaineering is the down jacket par excellence for mountain activities in freezing cold. The Infinity Jacket uses two GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabrics of different weights, and the shell is reinforced in high-wear areas. The jacket is not only highly breathable, windproof and water repellent, but also soft-grip; perfect for demanding climbs.

With its construction, the Infinity jacket maximizes the bulk of the down, traps maximum warmth and largely prevents water from penetrating. This is achieved through an advanced quilted construction. The staggered boxwall chambers overlap each other and the intelligent vertical seams channel water away from the down inside. The Infinity jacket uses high quality RDS certified goose down treated with hydrophobic Nikwax waterproofing and 800 fillpower.

The down jacket is designed for steep ascents. It has an infinitely adjustable, helmet-compatible hood with reinforced peak, pre-shaped sleeves that ensure freedom of movement, and a 2-way YKK® VISLON® AquaGuard® front zip with insulated wind protection flap. It has several zippered pockets, including two practical mesh pockets made of stretch material on the inside that can hold a water bottle or gloves; the Relaxed cut leaves room for several layers of clothing if it suddenly gets uncomfortably cold.
