Due to the tight supply situation for individual components, bikes may sometimes be delivered with deviating equipment. However, any alternative components used will be of a corresponding quality to that of the original components.
The Scott Genius was created to effortlessly master every climb with you, so you can ride back down with maximum speed and maximum fun. With smart suspension, smart features and smart design, it's an incredible trail bike that you just can't get enough of.
The Genius features a patented integrated suspension technology. This makes the bike not only looks fantastic, but also has
a significantly improved suspension performance. First and foremost, this has allowed for the development of a frame with a lower center of gravity, resulting in better handling and a more stable ride. In addition, the frame is stiffer around the bottom bracket, which reduces unnecessary movement laterally towards the shock's travel. Of course, the shock is also protected from dirt and the elements, two of the main enemies when it comes to shock performance.
On the all-new Genius, accessing the patented integrated damper is easier than ever. Simply push the button, remove the cover. From here, adjusting rebound, air pressure, etc. is just a button press away.
Sag adjustment and checking travel have never been easier than with the Genius. An external display on the connector allows the rider to easily make adjustments.
The Genius features a redesigned Syncros Hixon cockpit. Integrating cables is a major challenge and the Hixon was designed in part to solve just that. Developers at Syncros worked hard on the shape so that the cables run under the handlebars and around the sides of the stem before disappearing into the headset with integrated plastic parts. This makes for a tidy and efficient cockpit. So the cables are not bent or kinked and the front looks minimalist.
Thanks to the TwinLoc suspension system, the rider can effectively control the frame, fork and shock as a complete system. The added control makes for extra fun riding, especially on downhills. TwinLoc allows for nuanced fine-tuning of the suspension. Furthermore, not only the compression damping can be changed, but furthermore the spring characteristics to dynamically change the geometry of the bike.
