ONE11 - MTB specific bibshorts for MTB Tech & Trail or Trekking

The SQ-Short ONE11 is made for off-road use and has an ideal cut for all body types. An exceptionally thin pad combined with additional protectors result in a bibshort perfectly adapted to MTB use. Super elastic and breathable materials provide better performance and optimal comfort. Two back pockets on the straps provide ample space for important valuables. The thoughtful placement left and right vehindert uncomfortable pressure on the spine. Another special feature of the ONE11 are the, at the level of the femoral neck and hip joint attached, removable SAS-Tec Tripleflex protectors. These are designed to protect the sensitive femoral neck, especially in off-road falls.

SQ-Pad 11 - The heart of the bibshorts

The SQ-Pad 11 is only a maximum of 6 mm thick and tight. Thus, the pad can not be pushed through with two fingers quite loosely, as is otherwise typical with much too soft pad. The pad consists of a dense and breathable foam, which is equipped with a thin layer of a TPE gel on the underside. This serves to optimally absorb the shear forces generated during the pedaling motion. The breathable, elastic straps and honeycomb cuffs ensure a perfect fit.

Simple and ingenious

Everyone who cycles a lot knows that the tight and thinly padded saddle is much more comfortable than the soft, thick saddle when cycling for about 30 minutes or more. This is no different with a pants pad. Only there were here almost exclusively 12 mm thick super soft pads - until now. The first driving impression with the SQ-Pad 11 is very similar to that of the SQlab saddles. At first a bit unfamiliar, but with increasing mileage it becomes more and more comfortable and adapts wonderfully to the body shape without slipping uncomfortably.

One Size

When the inventor of the sit-bone measurement and saddle width system develops a pants pad, pads in different widths are expected. All the more surprising that the first SQlab Pad in only one width finds its way into all trouser sizes. The SQ-Pad 11 is designed up to seat bone distances of 14.5 cm. This means that with a smaller seat bone - distance right and left some padding protrudes. This would be a problem with a hard saddle, because here the pelvis works through the pedaling movement uncomfortably forward. With a pants padding it is only two pieces of fabric of max. 5 grams in weight, but this is no disadvantage in terms of ergonomics and comfort.

Breathable foam

A patented process makes the foam used extremely breathable despite its very high density, thus improving its cushioning properties. In the process, 98% of the surface of the foam bubbles is broken up, so that only the connections between the foam bubbles remain and form the framework of the foam. Sweat in the perineal and seating areas, which often leads to unpleasant friction, can thus penetrate particularly well to the outside.

Other advantages of SQ-Pad 11:

• No pressure points: Compared to many high pads, the flat SQ-Pad 11 retains its shape thanks to its tight design and is not pushed inward uncomfortably during pedaling.
• Optimal adaptation: Through repeated riding, the foam becomes more and more elastic and adapts optimally to the body shape without slipping.
