Modeled after the top SRAM RED groupset, the new SRAM Force 22 ErgoDynamics™ brake shifters represent SRAM's most advanced thinking in perfecting the contact point between rider and bike. Every detail has been adopted, from the transition between the handlebar and the grip rubbers, the grip structure, the finger grip width to the respective contact points with both the shift and brake levers. The subtle black design gives the Force 22 a fast look and fits perfectly with any race machine.

The ErgoDynamics design features three separate elements and will significantly improve the riding experience with SRAM DoubleTap levers:

• The ErgoBlade carbon brake lever is slightly longer than previous DoubleTap levers, making it easier to reach from the lower handlebar grips.
• The structured ErgoFit body has a completely new design with a smaller diameter and can be better controlled and embraced thanks to its improved shape and provides a better transition to the handlebar.
• The individual grip width adjustment of brake and shift levers is now even easier to access with a standard Allen key and the brake shift levers can be quickly and easily adjusted for any hand size. The new clamping allows a better fit and adjustment for modern carbon and ergonomic handlebars.

DoubleTap® is SRAM's key technology that replaces time-honored technology. The combination of brake and shift lever has not proven itself. SRAM brake shifters have a brake lever that brakes and a shift lever that shifts. DoubleTap® shifts faster and easier. There is only one direction of movement. To shift up, a quick tap is all it takes. To shift to a lower gear, simply push the lever further down. The ingenious thing about DoubleTap® technology is the constant direction of movement of the shift lever. With a short, quick tap, the transport pawl moves the ratchet wheel up through the shift range. For a lower gear, the lever is moved a longer distance. In the process, the retaining and transport pawls overlap quickly and cleanly.

The nearly linear direction of movement of the DoubleTap® levers offers yet another advantage. The shift lever can be operated from almost any grip position. Unique is the fact that the shift lever can be pulled like the trigger of a pistol to the handlebar! You can shift up in a sprint without releasing the grip on the handlebars. The efficient, ergonomic design saves weight and offers more comfort. You can also shift while sprinting, which gives you a decisive advantage not only in competition. SRAM's single lever mechanism also allows faster and more precise shifting without having to change the handlebar grip. DoubleTap® is the new way of shifting and thinking: Make the leap.

ZeroLoss stands for "zero loss." When the lever is pulled to shift up or down a gear, the cable is released instantly, providing zero loss of motion. There is no more idle time for the gear to engage. The gear is changed instantly and precisely.
