Product Description:

The SRAM RED AXS™ Powermeter throws tradition overboard and breaks through to a new level of performance in the process. By the product designers of SRAM reduced the chainring size and increased the transmission range of the cassette, they have redefined the gear gradation on the road bike from scratch and designed. This design innovation hears on the name X-Range. At the same time, the 13-tooth gear jump between the chainrings was retained to guarantee precise shifting in any setup. The result is a more usable gear ratio in all configurations and fundamentally better shifting. The RED AXS™ powermeter also features DZero™, Quarq's premium wireless power measurement system integrated into the crankset. Thanks to a professional performance-tuned training you are ready to climb the cycling Olympus.

The SRAM RED Carbon crank arms are completely hollow thanks to Exogram technology. The X Range Direct Mount chainrings harmonize perfectly with the Yaw technology of the RED eTap AXS derailleur and thus offer an outstanding and low-friction shifting. Like the current SRAM MTB cranks, the SRAM RED crank is equipped with the universal DUB (Durable Unified Bottom Bracket) crankshaft, which can be used in all standard crankcases. It additionally increases the stiffness. The bearing clearance is adjusted via an adjustment ring.

AXS™

AXS™ is SRAM's integrated wireless platform for connecting electronic bike components with software. The SRAM AXS™ app allows riders not only to check battery levels, influence shifting behavior and configure controls according to personal preferences, but also to create maintenance schedules and update firmware.

Exogram

Hollow carbon construction starts in the crank arm and extends into the crank spider. It provides an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio.

Yaw

The derailleur cage rotates and is thus in a constant angular relationship with the chain. The Yaw technology enables trim-free shifting. The shift transitions are thus more direct and precise and in combination with the new Red crank and Red chainrings, the Yaw forms a perfect unit with the chain. Thus, the Yaw technology provides unprecedented performance when shifting forward.

X-Range
