X-HORIZON™.

The parallelogram design of the X-HORIZON™ rear derailleur limits movement along the horizontal axis, eliminating "ghost shifting" while reducing shifting force. For faster and more precise shifting, the large offset of the upper shifting roller ensures constant chain spacing in each gear.

EXACT ACTUATION™

When SRAM first introduced their road bike technologies, they again relied on their proven SRAM MTB 1:1 gear ratio (shift cable travel : rear derailleur movement) for 10-speed shifting. Exact Actuation helps create a simpler and more stable balance between rear derailleur suspension design, tight sprocket clearances and exact tension. The result: a shifting system that's a breeze to operate.

ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ rear derailleurs provide maximum drivetrain stability - even on grueling and highly demanding terrain. ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ technology puts an end to wobbly rear derailleurs and flapping chains - without sacrificing precision.

CAGE LOCK™

Thanks to CAGE LOCK™ technology in the rear derailleur, rear wheel removal and installation, as well as chain installation, are faster and easier than ever. Simply slide the cage forward (to release chain tension) and lock.

X-SYNC™

X-SYNC™ ensures maximum performance and durability. The long SRAM X-SYNC™ tooth edges grip the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile and the rounded oblique edges support the chain guide. To provide the best possible performance in muddy terrain, X-SYNC™ chainrings feature depressions to remove dirt and mud for the inner chain links and rollers. Made in Germany, X-SYNC™ chainrings are a key component of SRAM's 1X™ drivetrain.
