Engineered to maintain consistent chain gap across all seven gears, X-HORIZON™ delivers faster shifting and reduced shift force while eliminating vertical movement and ghost shifting. And with the Type-3 ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™, you get the very best in chain management. Thanks to this technology and the 12-tooth X-SYNC™ pulley wheels the SRAM X01 DH TYPE 3 derailleur holds the chain in place and eliminates more effectively bounce and chain slap without sacrificing precision. And CAGE LOCK™ technology makes wheel removal and installation easier than ever. Paired with the X01 DH 7-speed shifter, X-HORIZON™ forms the backbone of X-ACTUATION™ technology - and that means completely smooth shifting action.
