The 10-speed X-HORIZON™ rear derailleur makes shifting smooth and reliable no matter where you ride. Engineered to maintain consistent chain gap across all seven gears, X-HORIZON™ eliminates vertical movement for faster shifting, reduced shift force and an end to ghost shifting. The Type-3 ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ features a smoother torque curve for a quieter, more consistent operation and feel. Thanks to this technology and the 12-tooth X-SYNC™ pulley wheels the SRAM X01 DH TYPE 3 derailleur holds the chain in place and eliminates more effectively bounce and chain slap without sacrificing precision. And CAGE LOCK™ technology makes wheel removal and installation easier than ever. Paired with the X01 DH 10-speed shifter, X-HORIZON™ forms the backbone of X-ACTUATION™ technology - and that means completely smooth shifting action.

Notice: Proper chain sizing is critical for X01 DH rear derailleur performance; consult the Chain and Cassette user manual for chain sizing instructions. Do not use the X01 DH rear derailleur with frames that have chainstay growth greater than 35 mm. Use the X0™ DH rear derailleur instead.
