Purpose built high strength 7075 T6 alloy pins that are significantly stronger than conventional alloy pins, and featuring a strong pre-defined breaking point. The Syntace flat collar pin design always allows a trouble free pin removal if worn or even damaged without damaging the thread. The slim and aggressive 5 mm hexagonal collar shape, as already mentioned, provides perfect "toothwork" for best interlocking grip especially with soft soled shoes. As an important force transmitting element it's height is to be added to the effective length of the pins shaft. This is why, the Syntace pin lengths are stated not only with the extending shaft length (here 3mm) but with the full length of 4.2 mm.
