To meet the needs of every MTB KID, the CONTACT CNC is available in KIDS (shoe size < 36) and JUNIOR (35-41) versions. To keep the grip level high and the risk of injury low biting but relatively short PINS are installed. Undesired ground contact avoid the pedals by a thin construction and the open design allows dirt to fall through the pedal. In the JUNIOR version, the stability of the pedal already corresponds to a pedal for adults and is still a proven lightweight with its 289g. In terms of weight, however, the KIDS version plays in a league of its own, because the smallest bikers have to screw only 193g pedal weight to their mountain bike.
Both versions have a high-quality IGUS JSM plain bearing inside and 2 side by side installed deep groove ball bearings outside. For sealing, 2 double lip seal rings are installed, which shield the bearings from dirt and moisture. The bearing and seal unit makes the pedal sustainable in terms of a long service life. In addition, bearings and seals can be renewed with the optionally available Refresh Kit in 5 minutes to set the clock back to 0.
