With a gross vehicle weight of 200 kg, the GSD is ready to replace an entire car – no matter if you want to transport two kids plus groceries or lots of goods. And it's just as long as an ordinary bicycle. Thanks to standard DualBattery technology, its range is good for a long day in the saddle. And because it folds flat as well as parks vertically, the GSD is so incredibly easy to use.

One size fits (almost) all

The GSD's cockpit can be adjusted in seconds and without tools to fit a wide range of riders – from 150 to 195cm tall. So you can share your GSD with the whole family. The optimized frame geometry with a flatter seat angle and higher handlebars not only improves the fit, it also makes the ride more comfortable.

Easy handling

The GSD's unique frame geometry creates a super-stable ride – even when you're hauling big loads or the little passengers are fidgety again. Thanks to the low center of gravity, even smaller riders can handle heavy luggage. Getting on and off is made much easier by the low step-through. And when stopping, the feet reach the solid ground even more easily.

Pack up the family

The range of accessories for passenger transport fits the whole family - today and even five years from now! Put one or two small children in matching child seats and watch them grow into (and out of) the Clubhouse attachment. Take your darling on a romantic date in the Captain's Chair. And have the camera ready to take a snapshot when your teenager takes you as a passenger one day...

Minimal space requirement

A conventional bicycle takes up quite a bit of space and is usually difficult to accommodate when living space is limited. Even taking it in a lift can be a problem. Which is why Tern has come up with the "vertical parking" option for the GSD. Placed on the special carrier "feet", it requires no more space than a large potted plant - perfect for city apartments and the elevator to the umpteenth floor.
