VECTIV™ technology is designed to maximize power transfer to the trail. To do this, it combines an ultra-lightweight but stabilizing footplate, a midsole with rocker bend-up and a grippy SurfaceCTRL™ outsole. The Exploris is the translation for a long-distance hiking boot. But while this version features the same great details as the original, we've made a few changes. The platform under the foot is wider and provides more stability. The cantilever is 2mm higher for more comfort and support. And the rockered midsole offers a bifurcated heel and forefoot and TPU plate for more lateral stability. The FUTURELIGHT™ membrane is still as breathable as ever, and the nubuck leather is durable but soft. Even better, we source our leather from Leather Working Group (LWG)-certified tanneries, helping to create a sustainable future with responsible leather.
