The THM Clavicula XC is a full carbon MTB crank and the successor to the popular Clavicula M3 MTB. The Clavicula XC brings the standard of the Clavicula SE to the terrain.
With the MTB version THM gets a suitable version of their legendary Clavicula crank arms for fast cross-country bikes started. Unlike the previous version Clavicula M3 now connects, as in the road version, a shaft made of carbon the crank arms. Through an identical fiber structure of the external teeth of the shaft and internal teeth of the crank arm, the relative movements between the teeth could be minimized. As a result, there is virtually no wear and no possibility of noise development at this point. In addition, the spider of carbon is also laminated to the crank arm.
Despite the integrated spider, which allows lighter chainrings, the weight of the Clavicula XC has dropped by 35 grams compared to the M3. For broad frame compatibility, THM offers bottom brackets for BSA, BB30, PF30, PF92 and PF89.5 housings.
