Details of the Topo Athletic Phantom running shoes

The 25-30mm thick midsole is made from a newly developed composite of TPU and EVA and is introduced with the Phantom as ZipFoam. What makes ZipFoam special is the extremely low memory effect over the life of the shoe combined with significant weight advantages and remarkably high agility during running. The difference, evident on the midsole, can also already be seen in the drop of 5 mm, which is particularly suitable for those switching from classic shoes with a high drop.
The mesh upper, newly developed for the Phantom, offers the best ventilation on hot days and comes entirely without surface seams. The applications for stabilization are superficially applied and ultra-thin to guarantee the best wearing comfort. The sole construction was developed for road running and has a comparatively simple design to build up friction only when necessary - but otherwise to absorb the weight of the runner as evenly as possible. The Ortholite footbed also adds another layer of comfort, making the Phantom the most comfortable Topo in its class.
