The legend is back!
From early pioneers like Rob Warner in the 1990s to world champions like Myles Rockwell (2000) and Danny Hart (2011), many of the greatest downhill legends have flown the flag for GIANT over the years. This special edition frameset celebrates that heritage with GIANT's classic colors and design. Underneath the stunning paintwork is state-of-the-art DH design and technology, such as full carbon construction, the all-new Maestro suspension system and the ultimate adjustability to tackle different types of DH terrain.
Highlights of the Giant Glory Advanced Pro - Carbon Frameset - 2024
- The main frame and rear swingarm are made of high-performance carbon fiber and special resin produced in GIANT's own composite factory.
- The handcrafted monocoque construction makes the frameset extremely light, stiff and compliant.
- Maestro Suspension - Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages work together to create a single virtual pivot point for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
- Advanced Forged Composite - The carbon fiber upper rocker is manufactured using a state-of-the-art high pressure casting process and is lighter, stiffer and stronger than aluminum.
- The frame geometry can be adjusted in three stages to suit the riding style and terrain. It can be set to a 61.6, 62 or 62.3-degree head angle and correspondingly a 78.4, 78.8 or 79.1-degree seat angle, resulting in 13, 8 or 3mm bottom bracket drop (size M/L).
- A flip chip on the rear dropout can be set to a long or short position to adjust the wheelbase and chainstays.
- A flip chip on the headset, which can be adjusted to three positions, allows riders to quickly adjust cockpit dimensions and geometry. This modular system has two positioning chips that are removable and interchangeable to achieve a short (-5 mm), medium (0 mm) or long (+5 mm) reach and optimize the rider's handling and position.
Race-Ready Suspension
- The new Maestro rear suspension system, developed in collaboration with GIANT engineers and professional athletes over several seasons at World Cup, offers 200 mm of active travel for race speed. The shock is paired with a 203 mm travel* fork for superior confidence and control on the most extreme DH race tracks and trails. * not compatible with RockShox BoXXer Ultimate or BoXXer Select (2023 or earlier)
Perfectly adjustable
- A total of three Flip Chips ensure unprecedented adaptability. With the three-position Maestro flip chip, you can adjust the frame geometry to suit your riding style and terrain. A new headset flip chip adjusts the Reach so you can easily reach your preferred position. And with the flip chip at the dropout, you can adjust the wheelbase and chainstays.
Rear wheel options
- You can choose between a 29-inch and a 27.5-inch rear wheel. A 27.5" rear wheel provides a lively, agile riding experience. If you prefer the rollover behavior and stability of two 29-inch wheels, you can get this by purchasing and fitting a larger wheel/tire.
