The most advanced road bike helmet, now even safer with MIPS®
The Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS is a performance road bike helmet for elite riders and is designed for the best possible function when riding in a group and is the most advanced road bike helmet MET has ever produced. This limited edition was developed in close collaboration with Tadej Pogačar, who joined Team UAE Emirates for the WorldTour and has been riding with MET helmets ever since. Due to the special process used to produce the pattern, which resembles a "living liquid", no two helmets are the same. The helmet is as unique as a fingerprint. In the center is the official logo of the cyclist consisting of the initials "T" and "P", which are dynamically simplified.

3K CARBON technology
The construction of the MET Trenta 3K Carbon works better than any other helmet on the market. The MET research and development team discovered that the modulus of elasticity of the carbon can reduce the density of the EPS foam by 20% without negatively affecting the energy absorption capacity. The result is an extremely light and at the same time better functioning helmet shell that sets a new standard in the manufacture of ventilated helmets.
NACA ventilation opening
Originally developed by NACA, a predecessor of NASA, this cleverly placed ventilation opening generates a cooling effect over the entire head. The warm air inside the helmet is forced out through specially positioned air outlets. This ensures a constant flow of air through the inside of the helmet without increasing air resistance.
Rear deflector
The rear of a helmet has an enormous effect on ventilation with the outlet of warm air. The MET Trenta 3K Carbon has a flat rear deflector inclined at an angle of 25°. This makes it possible to integrate two wide air outlets that optimize the air flow while you are pushing your performance limits in the lower handlebar position.
Tubular rear
The rear of the helmet is also of aerodynamic importance. It uses the synergy with the NACA ventilation opening and the rear deflector to dissipate the airflow without turbulence. As a result of extensive wind tunnel tests at the NEWTON Lab in Milan, we have designed the rear end to be flatter in order to optimize aerodynamics.
Contact surface with the head
The MET Trenta 3K Carbon was developed in such a way that only 30% of the head comes into contact with the racing bike helmet when it is worn. This means that the remaining 70% of the head benefits from the optimized airflow, which flows through the ingenious system of ventilation channels on the inside and ensures the most effective cooling possible.
Sunglasses ports
Special rubber ports hold the sunglasses securely on the helmet when not in use.
