Many child bike trailers and most cargo trailers have a hitch style mount that attaches to one side of your bike wheel. With The Robert Axle Project 12 mm Thru Axle for Hitch Mount Trailers, you can attach this type of bike trailer to any bike with a rear 12 mm thru axle—mountain, road, fat, cross, e-bike and everything in between.

The thru axles for child trailers are designed for maximum strength and ease of use in attaching your child trailer. The Robert Axle has a stainless steel 10x1 mm threaded stud to attach the hitch supplied by your trailer manufacturer.

Replace your stock axle with your Robert Axle, install your trailer hitch and hook up your trailer. Off you go with your kids in tow.

The Robert Axle Project precision product is designed to adapt your high-end bike with your precious cargo. Robert Axle for Hitch-Mount Trailers replaces your stock axle to attach your child or cargo trailer to your 12 mm thru-axle equipped bike. The axles are designed for maximum strength and ease of use in attaching your trailer.

• This axle is compatible with Burley, Carry Freedom, Chariot/Thule, Croozer, Instep, and many more.
• The axle shaft and axle end are precision CNC machined. The axle shaft is 7075 aluminum and hard black anodized for rugged durability.
• The axle end is stainless steel, which allow for mounting of the hitch provided with your trailer. The threads are M10x1 mm (metric).
• Hardware for attachment of the hitch is included; the hitch is not.
• No special tools required. Design allows for installation or wheel removal using your standard 5 mm hex wrench.
