The electronic Super Record groupset, considered the benchmark for performance and reliability, has the necessary qualifications with the 12-speed drivetrain system to maintain its historic role as the performance and quality reference for the most demanding cyclists.
In the Super Record EPS range, the extremely low weight and enormous reliability that already distinguish the mechanical models merge with the current state of electronic technology to create a drive system at a unique level of performance and functionality.
Brake discs, interface and cable (for internal frame mounting), adaptors, hubs and bottom bracket cups are not included.
These can be ordered separately. Also the battery, which is needed for this group, is not included because it cannot be shipped by air freight. For deliveries to EU, Lichtenstein, Switzerland and Norway, the battery can be ordered separately.
Please note that the Super Record EPS rear derailleur is only compatible to the corresponding cassette with the 11-29 and 11-32 teeth sprocket ratio.
Campagnolo Super Record EPS, the feather in the cap of Campagnolo innovation thanks to the technologies, materials and expertise behind the design of this groupset, consolidates its benchmark role by moving up to a 12-speed.
Leading the way for 8, 9, 10, and 11 speeds and, more recently, 12 speeds, Campagnolo has always been a pioneer in innovation for racing bike transmission. The recently introduced Super Record and Record mechanical drivetrains marked not only a new era in the technology of the mechanical groupset, but also made the way for what was to become the electronic version of the Super Record 12-speed groupset. EPS technology was tested on the field by cyclists and before its launch on the market, it was subjected to the usual testing by the Campy Tech Lab in the most demanding lab in the world: the World Tour.
This very popular groupset is now available in a 12-speed option with its V4 version in Power Unit electronic components and interface. The groupset has been redesigned to adapt perfectly to the 12-speed technological frontier and to the 11-29 and 11-32 cassette combinations introduced in the mechanical version. Fast shifting, always precise and effortless for the cyclist, and a very gradual gear ratio are just some of the extraordinary characteristics of the EPS groupset.
Campagnolo EPS, Electronic Power Shift, is an evolved electronic drivetrainsystem that, through artificial intelligence (DTI / Digital Tech Intelligence), is capable of translating the actions that the cyclist performs on the levers into digital signals, process them and control the coordinated movement of the front and rear derailleur.
The EPS system possesses electronics that are centralized and not located in the parts, digital intelligence that communicates with the components and continuously sends feedback, and controls them. Centralized electronics means more stability to the system and less risk of failure and breakdowns due to falls. If malfunctions encounter, the EPS system is capable of automatically detecting a whole range of them. The On Board Diagnostic shows with different colors in a RGB-LED where a malfunction is detected.
