Thanks to the new frame design, the lateral movement of the trainer to the left and right has also been improved, which particularly enhances riding in the cradle position. The unique and powerful NEO technology with magnetic motor brake and virtual flywheel offers innovative functions and advantages: No belt is needed, eliminating a source of noise and a critical wear part. Trainers in the NEO series do not require an external power source, as the motor brake works in a similar way to a dynamo. For Road Feel, the Neodym magnets of the brake unit are activated individually while riding to simulate surfaces such as cobblestones or Gravel. In addition, the motor brake can be used to drive the trainer, which enables trainers from the NEO series to simulate downhill driving. This helps you when riding in virtual worlds because you don't have to pedal when going downhill. Thanks to Bluetooth and ANT+ technology, the Tacx NEO 3M is compatible with all common indoor training apps. An 11-speed cassette for SHIMANO and SRAM groupsets is also included.

MULTIDIRECTIONAL MOVEMENT
Thanks to the new frame design, the lateral movement of the trainer to the left and right has been significantly improved. Thanks to the movement options in all directions relevant for cycling, the Tacx NEO 3M offers an unprecedented and realistic riding experience, just like riding outside.
DESIGN
The revised design of the indoor trainer offers a secure stand even during intensive training and the integrated carrying handle helps to stow the trainer away after the indoor unit. The stop sockets for mounting the bike frame have also been revised to make it easy to mount bikes with thru axles or quick-release skewers.
LOW NOISE
The NEO technology dispenses with an additional belt, which makes trainers from the NEO series particularly quiet. Another advantage: as no belt is required, a critical wearing part is no longer needed.
WITHOUT A POWER SOURCE
As the motor brake works in a similar way to a dynamo, you generate the power to use the trainer functions yourself. Another advantage: you can position your indoor trainer independently of power sockets.
ROAD FEEL
To make your indoor training sessions even more realistic, interesting and therefore more entertaining, indoor trainers from the NEO series can simulate different surfaces.
DOWNHILL SIMULATION
With conventional trainers, you still have to pedal when going downhill in virtual worlds so that the software receives movement information. Not so with trainers from the NEO series. As the motor brake can also be used to drive the trainer, downhill simulation is possible.
ACCURATE MEASUREMENT & HIGH PERFORMANCE
The measurement accuracy of < 1 % has been further improved on the NEO 3M compared to the NEO 2T and is now available over a wider power range. With a maximum simulated incline of up to 25% and a maximum power of 2,200 watts, the indoor trainer is ready for any indoor experience.
PEDAL STROKE ANALYSIS

CASSETTE
The Tacx NEO 3M comes with an 11-speed cassette that is compatible with 11-speed groupsets from SHIMANO and SRAM
NETWORK ADAPTER
You can use the separately available Smart network adapter to connect your indoor trainer to the indoor training software via Ethernet (LAN cable). This can have advantages if there are problems with the BLUETOOTH® or ANT+® connection or if several trainers are used in one room - for example in virtual competitions.
TACX TRAINING APP
With the Training App for smartphone, tablet or computer, you can complete targeted training sessions, retrace real routes with the Tacx films or complete rides with WorldTour teams. A free 3-month subscription is included.
