As the name suggests, the Nordisk Asgard Tech Mini tent is a scaled-down version of the larger Asgard tents, but still offers plenty of space for two people and your gear. In addition, almost all aspects of the tent have been changed to new innovative fabrics and lightweight materials to achieve the light weight and small pack size. Asgard Tech Mini comes with brand new features - the Nordisk Technical Hybrid fabric concept- as well as the Nordisk Turtle HubTM. It has excellent ventilation with closable doors and windows with mosquito nets, as well as other vents.

The Asgard Terch Mini Color Packs contain everything you need to not only set up your Asgard Tech Mini tent, but also make it your 'personal' Asgard Tech Mini. "Colour my Adventure": each Colour Pack includes all poles, pegs and guy lines in your chosen color. Also included are cool colored zippers and two clotheslines for hanging light gear and clothing inside or outside the tent. The poles, including the A-frame, are made of lightweight aluminum, as are the sturdy pegs. The poles and pegs are packed in small individual bags, so you can carry them separately. All guy lines are equipped with a mini hook, a triangular slider and a triangular mesh pocket. They can serve as an extra guy rope for added security.

The story behind the name Asgard

Home of the Norse gods

In ancient Norse mythology, Asgard, meaning "Home of the Aesir", is one of the nine worlds that can only be reached by burning the rainbow bridge Bifröst. Here live both the old god Vanir and the more warlike gods, under the leadership of Odin. He lives with his wife Frigg in the castle Valhalla in the middle of Asgard. Outside of Asgard is Utgard, the home of the giants, and Midgard, the home of the humans.
