Zayante – A beautiful marriage of lightness and versatility.
Home Grown. The Northern California coast and Santa Cruz Mountains are steeped in the history of road cycling. To honor them, Praxis Works has named its top-level crank after the fabled redwood-covered Zayante climb. It is manufactured exclusively in the in-house laboratory using proprietary hybrid "RTM+Filimant Winding" manufacturing methods, because not all carbon is the same.
Do Everything. Nowadays, bicycles not only have to ride on smooth roads, but also have to be able to convince on gravel and cobblestones. That is why the Zayante relies on modularity and so the crank can also be quickly and easily equipped with a 1-speed or 2-speed drivetrain system thanks to the 3-Bolt Direct Mount interface. For this, the manufacturer recommends the proven X-Ring chainrings with X-Spider in the optimized LevaTime II design (sold separately), which allow even more biting, but by no means rough shifting.
