Due to the tight supply situation for individual components, bikes may sometimes be delivered with deviating equipment. However, any alternative components used will be of a corresponding quality to that of the original components.
The Spark RC offers the ideal combination of top-of-the-line carbon development, an unprecedented level of integration and just the right amount of secret ingredients. Scott wanted to make this platform as fast as ever for both the way up and the trail down. Scott increased the travel, tweaked the geometry and implemented tips and requests from the best athletes in the world to create the best cross country bike ever. This bike is for those who love speed.
The Spark allows you to adjust the steering head angle 0.6 degrees down or up. This can be done without cutting cables or bleeding the brakes. All you have to do is disassemble the handlebars and rotate the headset cups 180 degrees.
Access to the damper via the bottom bracket area is facilitated by a flap. This makes it easy to adjust the rebound and compression damping.
The Spark frame features a patented and integrated suspension technology. An integrated shock platform allows the suspension characteristics to be refined without sacrificing weight. The result is better bike handling and a more stable, confidence-inspiring ride.
The Boost standard improves wheel stiffness and provides greater tire clearance. The increased clearance in the chainstay area allows for a significantly larger chainstay cross-section. This improves the stiffness of the frame and keeps the chainstays short.
The TwinLoc suspension system allows the rider to effectively control the frame, fork and shock as a complete system. The added control makes for extra fun riding, especially on downhills. TwinLoc allows for nuanced fine-tuning of the suspension. Furthermore, not only the compression damping can be changed, but also the spring characteristics to dynamically change the geometry of the bike.
