In order to reduce rolling resistance to a minimum, the full diamond knob tread has been replaced in the middle of the current model by a smooth Slick surface. Meanwhile, new micro studs arranged on the sides ensure a secure grip when cornering. The full silica rubber compound also contributes to a drastic reduction in rolling resistance, but also improves grip in wet conditions making the Re-Fuse suitable as all-season tire as well.
