The Northwave Tailwhip Eco Evo represents an important first step towards responsible action on which Northwave is working hard. The Tailwhip Eco Evo is a cycling shoe with a responsible impact of 53.34%. The sole is made of 26% ReRubber, recycled rubber chips from production waste, a compound developed from the collaboration between Michelin and Northwave that guarantees excellent grip on the pedals.

RePET | RePET is made from recycled PET bottles. The use of recycled polyester can save large amounts of CO2 compared to virgin material and reduce the problem of plastic waste in the environment and oceans.

ReRUBBER | ReRubber reduces the need for new fossil materials by adding rubber shreds, which are a by-product of new rubber production, to the product.

ReFOAM | The foam is composed of waste material from production and water-borne adhesive.
