Product Description:

In 2015 Shimano introduced its Deore XT M8000 series for mountain bikers. Now Shimano has expanded the Deore XT definition to cover mountain biking and trekking with its T8000 range. Although the two component groups look very different, much like the riders, they share advanced riding technology that it set to increase performance and enjoyment in a variety of mixed-terrain on-road and off-road trekking and touring conditions.

The 10-speed rear derailleur now has the option of SHIMANO SHADOW RD technology, which creates a low profile rear derailleur with the function to stabilize the chain and reduce chain noise over rocky terrain, whilst still maintaining easy shifting performance. In addition to that, the new DEORE XT T8000 derailleurs and shifters work with stainless steel cables featuring an OPTISLICK coating for optimum performance.
