Light enough for summer, but strong enough for year-round use, the functional Croz 3-layer alpine jacket fits in any rucksack and is not only robust thanks to the technical polyamide outer fabric, but also completely waterproof and windproof thanks to the Ceplex Green membrane. In addition to the highly breathable membrane, ventilation zippers ensure a pleasant body climate. The cut is adapted to the needs of mountaineers. Incidentally, the pre-shaped elbows and hood were inspired by the armadillo.

The jacket does not slip out of the harness even on long climbs; the adjustable hood is fully helmet-compatible. The large, higher front pockets offer sufficient space for gloves and a map and are easy to reach even when wearing a climbing harness and rucksack.

This technical hardshell jacket offers optimum freedom of movement thanks to its cut and material and combines functionality and ecology. The textile materials are certified according to the bluesign® system, the world's strictest standard for environmental and consumer protection for textile products. Vaude uses recycled and bio-based materials in the production of the membrane and does not use any environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFC) or PTFE.
