The pannier backpack or the backpack pannier?
Either way, the smaller version of the Vario is, like its larger counterpart, a rucksack and pannier in one. On one side there is one of Ortlieb's tried and tested Quick-Lock fastening systems and on the other a comfortable and ergonomic back carrying system. The so-called Flap can be used to cover the side that is not currently needed. Simply "fold it over" with a flick of the wrist and the smart hybrid is transformed. Thanks to an integrated pocket, the Flap also offers the option of stowing smaller items such as a smartphone, keys or wallet. Of course, the smaller version of the Vario is also waterproof and sustainably manufactured in Germany.
