Vaude Rupal 45L+ Backpack - heron

Large touring backpack for alpinists* who go on multi-day mountain, high altitude and ski tours or climbing all year round. The Rupal 45+ alpine backpack impresses above all with its versatility: the lightweight hip belt can be removed. On the approach, it transfers the load, then disappears on the rock in favor of greater freedom of movement in the backpack. The large hydration bladder compartment holds a shovel in winter, and the handle and probe attach separately.

The ergonomically shaped shoulder straps offer in the FoM variant (Freedom of Movement) an unrestricted range of motion - even overhead, such as when climbing. An additional zipper at the bottom of the front allows quick access to the main compartment. The alpine backpack's aluminum frame can be individually adjusted or removed as needed. The rope attachment is located under the height-adjustable lid (5 to 6 liters of extra volume).

On the outside of the backpack there are attachments for two ice tools and a helmet. Side holsters and the compression straps hold skis or trekking poles. In addition, on the front are two webbing straps with loops to which you can attach other equipment.
