The proven One Way Bleeding system and the Easy Hose Joint System, which makes brake hose replacement considerably easier, ensure smooth and simple maintenance.
The design of the lightweight, racing-inspired Shimano BL-MT401 brake lever has been transferred from XTR to XT, SLX and Deore and features a 2-finger position for better control on the handlebars. The lever is designed for small hands with a reach of 75 mm from the handlebars and a user-friendly reach adjustment of 25 mm, allowing better adaptation to riding habits.
The Shimano BR-MT410 hydraulic disc brake impresses with its long service life, performance and quick, easy installation and adjustment. It is also characterized by a first-class response and fast resetting of the pistons. Its 2-piston design ensures reliable deceleration and control.
For brake systems with J-Kit brake line connection, the brake lever has an integrated crush seal (olive), which makes it considerably easier to install and remove the brake line.
