With the HMX carbon fiber, SCOTT has made significant advancements to the already high quality carbon fiber HMF used in the bike industry. HMX is the fiber used by SCOTT and has over 20% more stiffness than an HMF fiber of the same weight class. This unique material allows SCOTT engineers to develop super lightweight wheels with excellent riding characteristics.
The ICCR cable routing offers a clean appearance and a functional solution for all common standards. The routing is completely internal and designed for full length cables. Mounting an electronic groupset or dropper post is no problem and the appearance will always be flawless.
Thanks to the TwinLoc suspension system, the rider can effectively control the frame, fork and shock as a complete system. The added control makes for extra fun riding, especially on downhills. TwinLoc allows for nuanced fine-tuning of the suspension. Furthermore, not only can the compression damping be changed, but also the spring characteristics to dynamically change the geometry of the bike.
The Boost standard improves wheel stiffness and provides greater tire clearance. The increased clearance in the chainstay area allows for a significantly larger chainstay cross-section. This improves the stiffness of the frame and keeps the chainstays short.
