The hydraulic brake lever of the Shimano CUES series not only stands for optimized ergonomics, but also for outstanding control during every deceleration process. With its powerful 4-piston design and Ice-Tech brake pads equipped with cooling fins, the hydraulic Postmount brake caliper from the Shimano CUES series always provides a secure feeling, both at high speeds and when riding downhill. At the same time, the BR-U8020 brake caliper is characterized by excellent modulation and brake control over the entire lever travel. Suitable for internal hose routing.

SERVO WAVE | Because the brake lever absorbs a lot of brake travel right at the beginning of its movement, the brake pads come into contact with the brake disc more quickly and more lever travel remains for modulating the braking force. I-Spec II | The integrated I-Spec II mounting system for brake and shift lever comes with only one clamp. The fine adjustment option in the horizontal direction ensures an individually and optimally adapted setup.

Ice Technologies | In order to keep the braking power at longer continuous operation consistently high, Shimano has developed the Ice-Tech cooling technology for brake discs and brake pads. Brake pads with Ice Technologies feature cooling fins made of aluminum, which better dissipate heat. In conjunction with the optimized radiation properties of the rotor, this results in a longer durability of the pads, while brake noise and fading are minimized.

J-Kit (Easy Hose Joint System) | For brake systems with J-Kit brake hose connection, the brake lever has an integrated squeeze seal (olive), which makes the installation and removal of the brake line much easier overall.
