Product Description:

29 inch wheel with UST Tubeless compatible WTB ST i30 rim and a reliable hub of the Shimano MT400 series.

WTB ST i30 rim

The WTB ST i30 rim creates an affordable solution to the previously cost-prohibitive hurdle of Tubeless mountainbiking. UST compliant bead hooks border a tape and sealant-driven inner rim profile, providing standards-based, repeated Tubeless consistency.

TCS 2.0 (Tubeless Compatible System)

TCS 2.0 introduces a more robust, easily installed and dependable Tubeless system. A recessed channel along the center of TCS 2.0 rims makes the use of the so-called Solid Strip possible which prevents Tubeless tape from sagging at the spoke holes and results in a smooth, consistent interface between the tire and rim. Installation of the stout Solid Strip allows for more pliable and easy to install Flex Tape to provide the airtight seal needed for a Tubeless system.

On-Ramp

An angled inner rim profile that allows the bead of the tire to move easily and smoothly into place during installation and inflation.

Shimano FH-TC500 rear hub

The Shimano FH-TC500 is a stiff and lightweight rear hub for reliable trail performance. The hub is easy to install and is equipped with industrial bearings.

Micro Spline

The aluminium freewheel with 22 evenly spaced teeth keeps the cassette firmly under control for immediate response and also allows the use of a 10 teeth sprocket. In addition, the smaller and compared to the usual Hyperglide freewheel bodies more extensive gearing prevents rotor damage.
