DHX2 – The Full Race-Spec Magic Carpet Experience
Nothing sticks to the ground quite like a coil shock. The DHX2 from FOX takes this feeling of close connection to the terrain, which only a coil shock can offer, and combines it with sophisticated progressivity, a wide tuning range and a particularly low-friction inner workings. For a riding experience that is like a flying carpet.
Technical details of the FOX DHX2 rear shock
- series: Factory
- shaft: steel, with CrMo coating
- adjustability via lever: 2 positions (Open, Firm)
- Low Speed Compression (LSC): 16 clicks
- High Speed Compression (HSC): 8 clicks
- Low Speed Rebound (LSR): 16 clicks
- High Speed Rebound (HSR): 8 clicks (with VVC)
Ready to Race. As a representative of the Factory series, this rear shock is of course also packed with functions to exceed the expectations of professionals and ambitious amateur athletes. An overview of the optimizations:
- high-flow main piston
- steel shock body with ribbed interior for more structural rigidity and less hysteresis
- shaft with friction-reduced and highly resistant chromoly coating
- shorter reservoir for greater frame compatibility
- linear damping characteristics for better fine-tuning and more control
- MCU bottom-out bumper as bottom-out protection and to maintain end-stroke progressivity
- Firm mode with independent circuit system (to maintain tuning for LSC and HSC)
- Variable Valve Control (VVC) for simplified adjustment of the HSR
- indexed spring plate for precise adjustment of the spring preload
Scope of supply:
1 rear shock (without spring and bushing)
