The new mountain bike tire tread pattern features an aggressive tread pattern with deep center lugs and large volume shoulder blocks that bite into loose ground when cornering. The block-in-block transition knobs reinforce the tire structure, improving traction and reducing rolling resistance, from plowing through deep loam to negotiating rock slabs and storming over slippery roots.

Specialized's exclusive Sticky Fast T9 rubber compound improves the Hillbilly's traction so it sticks everywhere, even in greasy conditions. The T9 rubber compound not only provides grip in slippery situations, but also just the right amount of cushioning for the backwoods party: it reduces tire bounce, improving stability and control in difficult conditions.

This tubeless trail tire is available in GRID Trail and GRID Gravity casings and covers the trail, all-mountain, enduro and downhill sectors. The GRID Trail is an excellent choice for aggressive riding in rough conditions thanks to its bead protection and stability. The GRID Gravity is a robust, dual-layer construction designed for durability and puncture protection in extreme conditions. It offers incredible strength and exceptional tire stability when cornered hard and pushed into jump edges.
