BlackChili Compound

Continetal revolutionized the cycling scene with its unique tread compound made only in Germany. Through the legendary Black Chili compound could answer the eternal question of whether grip or rolling resistance, sustainable. The latest polymers and specially developed carbon black particles and fillers guarantee a unique performance - whether on the road bike, gravel or mountain bike, for time trial or downhill.

Vectran Breaker

Vectran is spun from the liquid crystal polymer Vectra. This creates a thermoplastic, multi-fiber yarn. By comparison, this semi-crystalline fabric is more cut-resistant than aramid and has five times the tensile strength of steel. A Vectran Breaker is lighter, more flexible and protects more effectively against cuts than comparable nylon breakers. The rolling resistance is not negatively affected.

For initial assembly, Continental recommends using at least 30ml Conti RevoSealant per tire. Then rotate the tire or wheel to distribute the Conti RevoSealant and inflate to maximum pressure. Before the first ride, check the pressure again and re-inflate if necessary. Hookless compatible, please refer to the table on rim width and maximum pressure on the product packaging.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
