RED XPLR – Effortless Resilience. Effortless Precision.
Always in the right gear. With its 13-speed drivetrain system and wide gear range, the advanced RED XPLR AXS series is the spearhead of SRAM's Gravel lineup. While the close-ratio XG-1391 cassette ensures efficient propulsion in every situation, the durable Full Mount rear derailleur can withstand anything its rider throws at it. Complemented by significant weight savings ans brakes that can be operated with just one finger, the RED XPLR components allow the bike to fly over every route with full power.
SRAM RED XPLR AXS powermeter crank
With the RED XPLR crankset, which is suitable for both 12-speed and 13-speed drivetrains, Gravel bikers can also enjoy SRAM's extremely light yet stiff carbon crank arms. As a Wide model with a longer crankshaft and correspondingly wider chain line, it is ideal for frames that support greater tire clearance and therefore for those riders who prefer to ride on unpaved trails. While the stable chainring offers perfect chain management thanks to the X-SYNC™ design, the tried-and-tested DUB™ technology contributes to greater durability of the entire system.
The Powermeter version of the RED XPLR crank makes recording your Gravel progress not only easier, but also much more precise. To get the most out of your training, the performance data is recorded on both sides. In addition, MagicZero technology continuously monitors the torque signals from the strain gauges and automatically recalibrates the Powermeter while you are still riding. The result: values that are accurate to +/- 1.5 %, unaffected by climatic conditions. And thanks to the familiar AXS wireless technology, pairing and setup are also intuitive and reliable as usual. The spider-based Powermeter uses SRAM's Thread Mount system to attach the replaceable chainring, which keeps the weight low without compromising the stiffness and reliability of the crankset.

X-SYNC™ | Chainrings with X-SYNC™ technology are an integral part of SRAM 1-speed shifting systems. The sophisticated tooth design with high, square edges ensures maximum performance and durability. Not only the narrow, sharp tooth profile grips the chain earlier than teeth with the traditional triangular shape, also the rounded chamfer edges support the chain's guidance.
DUB™ | The unit of bottom bracket and oversize crank shaft (⌀ 28.99 mm) is at the heart of the DUB™ (Durable Unified Bottom Bracket) technology, which allows a symbiosis between stiffness and durability. The system approach created by integrating the chainring, crank, shaft and bottom bracket not only improves durability thanks to an optimized seal, but also raises the performance of the drivetrain to a new level.
