Shimano Deore M6100, M5100 & M4100
After the mountain bike flagship XTR has already set benchmarks and Deore XT and SLX have followed suit, the Deore M6100 now rounds off Shimano's 12-speed lineup. It is complemented by the components of the M5100 and M4100 series which will equip 11- and 10-speed drivetrains at the same high level. Regarding the price, the current Shimano Deore groups are positioned in the entry-level range, but are not prepared to compromise in terms of performance, quality and reliability. Almost everything that the high end groups XTR, XT and SLX have to offer in terms of technology, innovation, performance and range of functions, you will find in the Deore components, too.
The aluminum hubs of the Deore M5100 series from Shimano are characterized by a particularly long service life. This is thanks to high-quality angular contact bearings and seals. The reliable FH-M5100 rear hub features a Centerlock brake disc mount and is attached to the frame using a quick release. The HG-M freewheel guarantees consistent shifting performance and is also compatible with 11-speed LinkGlide cassettes.
