With its powerful 4-piston design and Ice-Tech brake pads equipped with cooling fins, the hydraulic Postmount brake caliper from the Shimano CUES series always provides a secure feeling, both at high speeds and when riding downhill. At the same time, the BR-U8020 brake caliper is characterized by excellent modulation and brake control over the entire lever travel. Suitable for internal hose routing.

Ice Technologies | In order to keep the braking power at longer continuous operation consistently high, Shimano has developed the Ice-Tech cooling technology for brake discs and brake pads. Brake pads with Ice Technologies feature cooling fins made of aluminum, which better dissipate heat.
