If you want to ride on trails away from cars and crowds, or go full speed ahead in your favourite gravel race, you won't be able to avoid the Specialized Diverge. It's simply the fastest, most capable and probably the most fun bike Specialized has ever built. From the Future Shock fork and gravel-optimized geometry to maximum tire clearance, the Diverge represents everything Specialized have learned in 40 years of riding.
Future Shock 1.5 is the ideal technology for gravel riders. With 20mm of axial compliance, Future Shock 1.5 is progressive and specially designed for gravel riding. This allows you to maintain confidence and control, save power and protect your brakes on rough gravel roads while taking the strain off your hands, arms and neck.
The premium E5 aluminum frame provides a stiff, light and robust platform. In combination with the carbon fork, this results in a light, agile and versatile bike that feels comfortable on any surface.
Specialized has thrown the "status quo" of gravel geometries out the window. The Diverge has one of the most progressive geometries Specialized has ever designed for a drop-bar bike. This makes it possible to present you with a frame with very balanced riding characteristics. Specialized has lengthened the reach, flattened the head angle and fitted a fork with a longer offset. Together, this results in a platform that conveys confidence and riding stability on gravel and rough terrain. Coupled with shorter stems, this ensures that the handlebars do not move too far away and the steering remains dynamic. The depth of the bottom bracket has been chosen so that 650b wheels can also be fitted while maintaining a smooth ride.
Specialized has given the Diverge a large number of mounting points, which can also be found on the fork and top tube. So that you can take your equipment with you, no matter how long you are on the road. Do you want to ride wider tires? We have also taken this into account, the Diverge has 47 mm tire clearance with 700C tires and 2.1" with 650b wheels.
Specialized stands for quality and that's not just something said, it's a commitment. That's why Specialized gives you a lifetime warranty on ALL Specialized-branded frames & forks.
