The latest generation of the legendary MTB groupset is set to set the standard for mountain bikers worldwide. For almost three decades, the Deore XT has stood for trail-proven durability, reliability and performance. As mountain biking gets faster and the terrain more technical, it is the job of the M8100 components to give riders the confidence they need to perform at their best.

In typical Shimano fashion, the Deore XT naturally also incorporates the innovations of the high-end XTR parts. Accordingly, Micro Spline and Hyperglide+ are on board the new 12-speed groupset.

To ensure efficient power transmission, the Shimano Deore XT FC-M8130 1x12-speed c rankset not only offers a robust design, but also a lightweight one thanks to the hollow-forged crank arms. For fast and secure chainring installation, the crankset has a direct mount system for aggressive trail riding, which allows chainrings to be changed in no time at all.

In conjunction with the Shimano SM-CRM85 chainrings (available separately), which are characterized by Dynamic Chain Engagement+ technology, the FC-M8130-1 crankset ensures optimum chain retention even in rough terrain. At the same time, it ensures efficiency, smooth running and quiet operation of the drivetrain.
