Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO - For the perfect racing machine

The Ultra wheels are the ultimate evolution of the Bora WTO series and are characterized by a perfect balance of performance and aerodynamics. These wheels feature all-round improvements that ensure lower weight, reduced rolling resistance, faster response and optimized handling. They also stand out from the crowd thanks to their finish with DCS graphics.

Campagnolo is also introducing two technologies based on a completely new manufacturing process: C-LUX (Campy-Luxury finish) and H.U.L.C. (Hand-Made Ultra Light Carbon) guarantee unparalleled performance, looks, durability and precision. The Ultra wheels are the result of years of development and improvement, taking the Bora series to a new level of performance.

Features of the Bora Ultra WTO 60 Disc Brake wheels

The Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO 60 provides the extra push needed to cross the finish line first, no matter what type of race.

The 60 mm high rim profile and a nonetheless low weight make it the ideal set for time trial and triathlon courses where aerodynamic properties are particularly important, without having to sacrifice the excellent deceleration values of disc brakes.

RIM | As you would expect from Campagnolo WTO wheels, the rim design allows maximum aerodynamic penetration. At a certain angle of attack, the wind can even become a valuable ally for the rider. The high-strength UD carbon fiber material ensures ultimate performance and durability, while the H.U.L.C. technology enables secure mounting and functional adaptability of the tires.

HUBS | The hubs of the Ultra wheels are equipped with high-quality CULT ceramic cone bearings, which ensure maximum smoothness in rolling behavior. While the front hub is equipped with a carbon body and has an integrated radial flange with a narrower design adapted to brake discs, the rear hub is made of aluminum and offers an oversize ratchet pawl ring with 36 teeth for a direct response.

SPOKES | Both wheels are fitted with 24 double-butted 1.5 mm straight-pull spokes with an aerodynamic, elliptical cross-section. The G3 spoke pattern ensures better transmission of drive torque and improved lateral stiffness, while the internal and self-locking Aero Mo-Mag nipples reduce stress on the rims and spokes for improved durability of the wheel elements.

COMPATIBILITY | The C19 class allows the mounting of 23 to 28 mm wide tires with perfect connection of the rim-tire system, but also of larger tires up to 33 mm wide. The manufacturer recommends the use of 25 mm wide tires to make optimum use of aerodynamics. With the 2-Way Fit (Tubeless Ready) concept, Campagnolo offers its proven technology for full compatibility with clincher and tubeless tires.

2-Way Fit tire system

2-Way Fit stands for an innovative rim profile on which both tubeless tires and classic clincher tires can be mounted. With 2-Way Fit, everyone can try out for themselves which of the two solutions suits them better. It is also possible to fit the clincher tires for daily training and use the tubeless solution for the competition day.

The tubeless tire undoubtedly represents the tire of the future for road cycling. In addition to greater comfort, tubeless tires also offer better rolling characteristics due to the complete elimination of friction between the tire and inner tube.

They are also safe from abrupt air loss and, should a puncture occur, the 2-way fit system allows you to simply remove the sealing valve and fit a normal inner tube for a trouble-free ride home.

G3 spoke geometry

Campagnolo has developed a spoking pattern that enables improved energy transfer compared to conventional wheels. The use of double the number of spokes on the right-hand side of the rear wheel reduces the stress on the spokes located there.

The G3 concept therefore offers amazing advantages, not only increasing lateral stiffness, but also reducing spoke tension on the rear wheel and ultimately improving the transmission of drive power. In addition, the response is optimized and vibrations are eliminated with a higher system weight.

CULT (Ceramic Ultimate Level Technology)

Campagnolo's CULT technology combines the highest quality ceramic bearings with a housing made of special Cronitect stainless steel. These bearings are nine times smoother than the standard system. CULT eliminates oxidation and maintains performance over time.

DCS (Dark Copper Shade)

The DCS finish is introduced with the premium wheel series Bora Ultra WTO. It is characterized by graphics with a special copper shade that reveals a desaturation effect when viewed from different angles.

The wheel is assembled entirely by hand by a Campagnolo technician and 100% checked using electronically controlled instruments. This process guarantees the maximum performance and reliability of all Campagnolo wheels.
