The new Cane Creek Coil IL has been designed and tested for improved suspension performance, increased reliability and seamless compatibility with more trail bikes than ever before.

Details of the Cane Creek DB Coil IL

Four-way adjustment

Designed with Cane Creek DB Twin-Tube Technology, the next generation of IL shocks features the most damping adjustability on the market - engineered to give XC and trail bikes a new level of control. The Coil IL provides riders with easy-access external adjustability to set the shock's High and Low Speed Compression and High and Low Speed Rebound.

The Coil IL's DB Twin-Tube four-way control allows riders to make quick adjustments on the trail to increase pop, improve smoothness or add ride support.

Climb Switch

Adjustability is made even easier with the CS (Climb Switch) lever. When activated, the low-speed damping is changed. These circuits are specifically designed to meet the demands of off-road climbing for improved pedaling efficiency with less suspension movement. Unlike other climbing platforms, our CS feature adjusts both compression and rebound at low speed.

Maximum durability

Cane Creek engineers designed the new Coil IL with thicker shock tubes to increase strength and resistance to the forces the shock is subjected to during hard riding. To ensure maximum quality control and performance, each and every Cane Creek shock is hand assembled in North Carolina and individually bench tested.

Double Barrel Twin Tube Technology

Exclusive Twin Tube technology continuously circulates oil through the damping valves to provide highly controllable, independent damping for both compression and rebound. This unique design moves oil through externally adjustable valves instead of the main piston, providing superior tunability and eliminating the need for internal valve changes to achieve the proper damper setting.
