The OXiC technology wheel range is growing. Together with the extremely popular OXiC rim, the new PR 1400 DICUT 32 OXiC front wheel will be the pinnacle of aluminium road wheels. The ceramic OXiC surface coating gives rim brakes a whole new level of braking performance. The rim is wide, medium-profile and super strong, ensuring outstanding durability and reliability. A tubeless setup adds supreme comfort and grip to the athletic properties of this wheel.

Technologies of DT Swiss PR 1400 DICUT OXiC

DICUT® hubs: The full potential of the straightpull wheel: The hub is designed to perfectly match the proprietary straight Nail Head spokes, achieving an ideal mixture of strength and lightweight.

OXIC – wear resistant brake surface: OXiC is a process in which a ceramic coating is electrochemically applied to the rim surface, making it extremely hard and wear resistant. The OXiC process achieves a high end looking, matte black finish which also guarantees the highest level of brake performance while reducing wear on the rim to the absolute minimum.

Waterslide decals: Purposely developed for the DICUT® wheels, this process allows for applying ultra thin decals which do not affect aerodynamics, never peel off and weigh close to nothing.

DT aero comp® Straightpull aero spokes: In a first step the middle section of this spoke is butted through cold forging. This makes it more light weight and stronger. In a further process it is bladed to optimize the aerodynamic characteristics while increasing the material strength. DT aero comp® guarantees a balanced ratio of stiffness, aerodynamics and durability. This spoke fits hubs with standard spoke holes. The straight pull version is aligned perfectly to straight pull hubs, and offers increased durability. Another benefit of this spoke is its excellent price-performance ratio.

Maximized flange distance: The high precision covers which integrate the rotor seal allow for a maximized distance of the hub flanges. This significantly increases the wheels lateral stiffness.
