The Shimano Deore XT RT-MT800 brake rotor makes use of the successful Ice-Technologies Freeza design, which significantly reduces the temperatures generated during the braking process and thus ensures consistent braking performance and a longer service life for the brake pads, even under the toughest conditions. The design is based on the so-called sandwich construction (stainless steel - aluminium - stainless steel), which not only improves and stabilizes the braking performance, but also effectively dissipates the heat via the integrated cooling fins.
